Chairman Steve Shepherd
I have been chairman of Wisewood Juniors for 5 years now. I became involved in Wisewood through my son Marc who played for Wisewood from U8's through to 16 and still plays today for Hallam Wisewood under 18's.Wisewood in the past have always ended at age 16 but we have now linked up with Hallam FC at Crosspool for an exit route into senior football I am still part of a management team at this level.Junior football has changed in my time with the club and there is now a massive push by the FA to support grassroots football with children of all abilities, ethnicity and backgrounds to get involved. There is a huge amount of information on their website for anyone who is interested. As Chairman I get involved with the structure and forward planning of the club and it has moved forward in the last few years, all be it has a long way to go. We ultimately want to have our own ground and facilities and we are currently working towards this end. We have a

Beverley Parrott Club secretary I got involved in the club when my 11 year old started training at the academy he then went onto play for the U8's thro to now in the U12's. I became the club secretary last season and have the job of attending the monthly Sunday League meeting and also the Managers meeting for the club. I keep managers up to date on any rule changes, and about what goes on at the meetings. I try to keep them organised with the paperwork and I am also there to sort out any problems for them. I am looking forward to seeing the club progress and have it's own ground and facilities which should pull all the age groups together.

committee of very committed people both managers and parents who give up their time for the benefit of our kids and I would personally like to take this opportunity to thank them all for their efforts and would urge anybody who feels that they could offer a service, doesn't have to be in coaching, to contact either me or a member of our club. If we can give our kids structured coaching and organised football played in the right spirit it has got to help in both  their sporting and social development and for every minute we can keep kids off the streets and give them something to look forward to it has got to be worth it. One of the most pleasing aspects of the club is that we now have a few young people who have played for the club in the past putting their time and effort in giving something back and hopefully the club will encourage other young players male or female to get involved in the future
