Brian Smith I have been coaching since 1988 with Wisewood Juniors.I currently hold Level 1, & Level 2 Coaching badges, along with a Diploma in Sports Psychology.
I do it because I love the game of football and my aim is to develop kids in a sporting and social way to hopefully make them better sportsmen and women but also better individuals as they grow up.
Kerry Cartledge I recently passed my Level 1 Coaching badge and I assist Brian in the running of the under12s girls team. In passing my level 1 coaching I became the clubs first qualified woman Coach. Being the only woman in front of 15 men during training  was a nightmare! I kept thinking I wouldn't get through it but I am so glad I persevered because I am absolutely loving training the girls
Ben Crapper - Goal Keeping Coach. I started playing for Wisewood  at age seven and  had a parting of ways at  under 12's. I recently  started coaching, at age 16, assisting Brian in the Under 12 Girls, Under 11 Boys and the Under 16 Boys. I  started coaching to give something back to the club where I started playing. I hope to go on to do my coaching badges and hopefully start to manage a team.

Under 12 Girls End of Season Review.
Brian, Kerry, and Ben would like to thank all the girls for their hardwork and effort throughout the season. We believe that everyone goes out to give their best but players develop at different speeds and some of the players have advanced more than others. We played 18 games and although we started off slowly because we did not have the experience of some of the other sides we soon played catch up and started picking up the points, eventually climbing the league table to a very creditable 4th place with 24 pts. We also finished with a positive goal difference which we also think is a plus. Well done to Courtney Scott who scored 17 goals in her first season and to Megan Marsden who also scored a very creditable 13 goals, but remember football is a team game and those goals would not have been scored without the assistance of your team mates.
Finally the Under 12 Girls would like to send our CONGRATULATIONS to the Under 9's for winning the cup and to the Under 13's for gaining PROMOTION.

Apologies for the grainy quality of the pics of presentation night. Hope theres one or two good ones for you! Click Here
